WHY US?
Statement of Philosophy
Our clients come to us to with situations that are not only complex and at times emotionally charged, but also ones where the ability to successfully address and resolve the situation can have a significant impact on our clients’ lives as well as the lives of others who have a stake in how the situation is resolved. We take this to heart and are guided by four core philosophies:
At the center of our philosophy is a belief that how our client’s and others view the situation is a key component to solving the problem. Accordingly, we strive in each client engagement to meet the client where they are, to explore the client’s and others’ viewpoints, and surface key insights.
In addition, we seek to engage with the clients in activities that are meaningful and purposeful. What this means is that we are not hammers looking for nails; we are not professional who have an axe to grind; we are not looking to implement the latest management fad. Instead, we seek to employ proven strategies designed to move the client forward and achieve positive and meaningful results. Thus, like a carpenter, we are looking to employ the right tool for the situation.
In order to do this, we are constantly revising our approaches based on our experiences, as well as looking for best practices and other impactful approaches. Thus, we are constantly striving to develop and refine approaches that work.
In addition, we understand that our clients are dealing with difficult and challenging situations that at times requires us to provide positive support. Conversely, we believe that moving things forward in a positive manner often necessitates sifting through the complexity in order to surface key insights. Uncovering these insights is a positive experience. However, we realize that getting to the insights may necessitate addressing sensitive areas that move our clients out of their comfort zones. Thus, we are committed to having the courage and compassion to address these issues.
